My Inspiration
I try to capture the natural essence of beauty. My images combine symbols and visual contrast along with the use of vibrant healing colors. I especially love working with images of the female face and form. My goal is to create images that represent things not of this world, reflections of the spirit realm, serene and mysterious people and places that exist outside the confines of our reality. My images are the representation of the fleeting moments when the veil of perception is lost. The moments when we are able to view the reflections of the soul. They are representations of desired forms, the bodies and places that are created in our dreams.
My Medium
I use many different mediums, such as clay, acrylics, pastels and watercolor. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. My work is characterized by its bold colors, intricate patterns, and organic forms. I often use layers of paint and collage to create a sense of depth and texture in my work. My pieces are often large and immersive, inviting viewers to explore the details and symbolism within them.
